Subscription and cloud services

What KeepNote VIP actually buys

First, two things to keep apart:

The subscription page lists all five services

Free forever (your data lives in your own iCloud)

All the core features of lists, bookkeeping and notes; sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac; up to 10 lists and 15 bookkeeping groups; four solid-colour themes. No account needed to start.

One-time purchase: KeepNote Plus

Removes the limits, unlocks every colour theme and custom colours, and hides the total. Pay once and it is yours — it does not include the cloud services below.

Subscription: KeepNote VIP

These five all run on our servers continuously, which is why they are billed monthly or yearly:

① Receipt scanning — recognition runs on our servers, not as a model on your phone;
② Cloud receipt vault — switch devices or reinstall, sign in, and the receipts are still there;
③ Receipt reports — monthly totals, trends and category rankings;
④ Full-text receipt search — searches the text recognised on the receipt, not just the merchant;
⑤ Read-only web version — view them from a desktop browser.

What happens when a subscription ends? The server stops keeping your receipts, but the app's local data is unaffected — ledger entries, lists and notes live in your own iCloud. Free accounts' receipts are kept on the server for 7 days.

Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. To cancel or request a refund: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → KeepNote. There are more answers on the support page.
