KeepNote Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the KeepNote app and related services. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use KeepNote on Apple devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute or resell the app.

2. Free features and KeepNote-Plus

The core features of KeepNote are free to use, with some limits (for example the number of list and ledger entries).

KeepNote-Plus removes those limits. It is available in two forms, and both unlock the same features:

One-time purchase: pay once, keep it forever. It does not renew.
Auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly): see the next section.

3. Auto-renewable subscriptions

If you purchase an auto-renewable subscription, the following applies:

Payment: the amount is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends.
Manage or cancel: after purchase you can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS under Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You can also tap "Manage Subscription" on the in-app purchase page, which takes you straight there.
Free trial (if offered): any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Price changes: if we need to change the subscription price, we will notify you in advance as required by Apple, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
Refunds: all payments are handled by Apple. Refunds must be requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). As the developer we cannot issue refunds directly, but please contact us if you run into trouble.

4. Your content

The lists, ledger entries and notes you create in KeepNote belong to you. They are stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, and we cannot read them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, and not to interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the service.

6. Changes and termination

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the new version on this page with an updated date. If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using the app.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Please keep your own backups of important data.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
